Re: 64 bit vista with adobe reader not assocaited with pdf files Hi again. Adobe v8.0 does belong in the x86 Program Files folder. It runs in x86 compatibility mode. If my previous post suggestions do not work, go ahead and un-install v9 and then re-install v8.1.2 and see if that takes care of the problem.
